CNC Operator (Turning / Milling)

As CNC machine operator you are required to read drawings, perform measurements and program machines based on HEIDENHEIN, FANUC and or SIEMENS.

 Job description

The operator programs mills and lathes by entering instructions in the program, including calculating zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets and compensation; calculating machining parameters.

The operator is able to set up the machine independently and takes responsibility for the quality of the product. Machined parts range from averagely-sized to large, from single piece to small series and are machined on 3- and 4-axis machines. Products range from Steel grade 37 to Inconel and Super Duplex. The product accuracy ranges from 0.2mm to 0.01mm.

The operator maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. He/she maintains safe environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

Considering the steady growth of our organization, new positions can be opened within CNC department and there is a potential to be promoted to managerial positions.

The position is located in Appingedam, The Netherlands.

 

Qualifications and skills:

- Technical/mechanical education with minimum of 3 years’ experience as CNC operator

- Capable to operate multiple machines simultaneously

Sales Engineer

The Sales Engineer serves customers by identifying their needs and together with the Sales Department and he/she is responsible for processing incoming requests and follow up quotations and orders.

Job description

He/she will support the Sales department by making calculations and will ensure correct handling of administrative tasks. He/she communicates constantly with both clients and the internal organization and you have the ability and the ambition to develop. He/she informs clients about the use of the product range and gives advice about the applications of our products. You will form a team with the colleagues in the office as well as the colleagues in the field. You will be responsible for the optimal operation of the assigned region and/or application (national and international). Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Described position is located in Appingedam, The Netherlands.

Required qualifications

- Bachelor degree, preferably with a technical background and some relevant work experience

- Fluent in Dutch and English, both verbally and written

- Knowledge of MS Office, knowledge of ERP systems is a plus

- Communication skills, internally and externally

- Affinity with technology and a commercial, administrative and independent attitude

Service administrator

Our clients are supported by a team of service engineers who take care of After Sales service. Service Administrator is a part of our After Sales Department, proving support to service engineers and our customers worldwide.

Job description

As a Service Administrator you will be responsible for organizing service jobs, calculating rates, invoicing and billing of After Sales Department. You will work closely with our service engineers. You will make sure all service jobs are properly documented and updated in company’s ERP System. Furthermore, you will actively manage the database of installed valves. You will contribute daily to the continuous development of our After Sales Support department. 

The position is located in Appingedam, The Netherlands.

Qualifications

- Bachelor degree, preferably with a technical background and relevant work experience - Ideally, you have an experience coordinating (small) projects, schedules, facilities and/or stakeholders
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office e.g. Excel
- Knowledge of ERP systems and Cognos is a plus
- Strong customer focus and service attitude
- Well organized and willing to work independently

Intern in Engineering

We are looking for motivated students interested in the areas of Production Engineering, Material & Design and R&D Engineering.

As an Intern, you'll work alongside our international Engineering team on existing as well as innovation projects and gain practical knowledge. We will welcome your own initiative. You can lead your own project and/or conduct a research for your thesis. You will become an expert in the area of your interest and if our mutual cooperation works well, we will be happy to have you work with us long term. We are looking for students interested in the areas of Production Engineering, Material & Design and R&D Engineering. 

Production Engineer

-  Ability to analyze text and read technical documentation

Project Manager Assistant

Project Manager Assistant will be responsible for project realization from start to finish.

Job description

As a Project Manager Assistant you will work closely with Project Manager and be responsible for project realization within the delivery time, budget and the set requirements for the production of customer-specific valves, actuators and components. You will be responsible to monitor projects from "order to cash", i.e. from the receipt of an order up to final invoicing. When monitoring the project progress and the budget, you are alert to deviations and you act proactively. You will work closely with suppliers, customers, audit and employees in your own organization (Document controllers, Purchasing, Quality service, Production, Engineering and Sales). You support the project team from the kick-off up to the delivery, including the supervision of production, assembly and delivery with the accompanying documents.


Requirements

  • Associate’s/Bachelor degree on technical level with some relevant experience.
  • You are able to work on different projects at the same time and you are used to working under time pressure.
  • You have good knowledge of MS Office (i.e. Excel and Word)
  • Good communication skills in Dutch and English in speaking and writing

Document Controller

The Document Controller is responsible for managing project documentation.

Job Description
As a Document Controller you will be responsible for managing project documentation for Production and among other things, data books (e.g. internal test data). You take care of the accompanying documentation that comes with
a project and has been contractually agreed with our clients as well as its timely shipment. You will set priorities in collaboration with project management and the customer. You will work closely with suppliers, audit and employees in the organization (Project engineer / managers, Purchasing, Quality service, Production, Engineering and Sales). The complete flow of information to our clients is also managed and documented by you and if there are missing items, then the department's task is to take timely action.

Job requirements
• Associate/Bachelor degree preferably in Administration (ideally with technical background)
• Work experience in a production (planning / admin) environment is an advantage
• Good English communication skills in speaking and writing
• MS Office knowledge, you can generate and edit PDF documents
• Stress resistant, decisive, structured, precise and accurate
